The name Eric is a masculine name of Norse origin that means "sole ruler" or "eternal ruler". It comes from the Old Norse word Eirikr, which is made up of the words ei meaning "ever" or "alone" and ríkr meaning "rule". I really enjoyed this interview... there were a lot of enlightening moments. These types of episodes keep my fire lit for onomatology.
